Carol Gentithes Creates 7 ft Outdoor  Majestic Tree Sculpture for FireFest

Carol embarked on a remarkable creation - a majestic, uniquely gnarled tree. Standing 7-feet tall, using 1,200 pounds of clay, Carol worked tirelessly to design and create this one-of-a-kind piece for FireFest. FireFest was  a two-day festival in April 2015 celebrating the role of fire in the creation of art.
Despite the cold temperatures, Carol and a team of talented potters also created an impressive hand-made kiln to help ensure the successful firing of the tree. This sculpture was fired during the festival and itís fiery reveal can be viewed in the Instagram links below along with the photos of the firing and the finished product.  It was a sight to behold.
